We are thrilled to share that we were invited to give a lecture at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Sarajevo. The session was led by Corinna Kofler, an expert in defect image classification at KAI, and Vahidin Hasić, a PhD student from the very same faculty, specializing in explainable AI. The lecture, titled “Automating Semiconductor Manufacturing with Computer Vision”, provided insights into how computer vision is utilized to automate manual tasks in Infineon’s manufacturing processes.
Additionally, Martin Mischitz, IPCEI project leader at Infineon Austria, and Prof. Tarik Uzunović shared insights on the IPCEI project and opportunities for students. It was inspiring to see so many motivated young talents, and we are pleased to share that this lecture initiated discussions for two potential master thesis topics.
